Ranka gets a Zentradi fanboy club (I lol’d at the sparkles and nosebleed), while Sheryl is humbled down by an illness, about time… she could use that. I suspect it’s not normal illness…

omg OMG what is the Macross doing there, and then they used Ai oboete imasu ka as the ending song, which is a BRILLIANT move… no really, that was great. You’ll understand when you’ve seen the DYRL movie. I can’t wait to find out what it is doing there (probably not the original one I guess, but curious anyway).

Basically, if you liked this ep, there are chances you might like the original in its cheesy glory too. This is to say I greatly enjoyed this one, and am glad I made it through SDF series even though it got somewhat tedious. Next ep: SDF Macross history recap-ish?

I didn’t think it would be him, but Michael has been my favorite male character so far. XD; Luca is completely adorable as well. Among the females it’s juggled between Klan, Ranka and Canaria (geh, where’s she?!)…
